BRANDEN AKINYELE - KALI UCHIS

My name is Branden Akinyele and I started playing drums at the age of two years old. My mother would tell me stories saying, I would kick to the beat of music she would be playing when she would be in her car or anywhere in the house. My dad also played a part in my music helping me and giving me a push to be the person I am today. I currently play for the legendary rapper NAS and I also do a ton of studio work on the music you hear on today's radio. I am the musical director at my church Divine Deliverance Ministries where I started on drums for three years and made the transition to play keys. Branden is also endorsed by Soultone Cymbals.
